Frequently Asked Questions:
When is Ichthus Festival: The Re-Launch Event?
Ichthus Festival: The Re-Launch Event will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The exact schedule is still being finalized, but we're planning to open the gates at 12:00 noon and the last concert of the day to end around 9:45PM.
Is this the same Ichthus Festival?
If you've attended Ichthus in the past you will see some changes. First, the event in 2021 is a special re-launch event, not the full Ichthus Festival experience you're used to. It's a one day event designed to spread the word that Ichthus is back and get people excited for its return. Attending and supporting this one day event will help grow Ichthus for 2022 and beyond.
How much are tickets?
You can find the current cost for tickets by clicking here. Order early as ticket prices increase as we get closer to the event.
Will tickets be available at the gate?
Yes. However, they will be a higher price at the gate. Ordering your tickets in advance ensures you received the best price. Click here to order tickets.
Is there onsite camping or lodging?
No. Unfortantely, there will not be any onsite camping or lodging options. We recommend visiting the Jessamine Chamber of Commerce's member directory to view lodging options.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to Ichthus?
Yes. You'll need to present your ticket(s) at the gate for scanning either printed on paper or shown on the screen of a smart phone. However, we recommend printing in advance as unreliable cell service could make it difficult to display your ticket on your phone and could slow down lines. If you do not have your printed ticket and/or you are unable to display your ticket you will not be able to enter the festival without purchasing a new ticket.
I can't find the email with my ticket(s).
Once you order your ticket(s), you will receive an order confirmation email from Eventbrite on behalf of Connect Festival. Your ticket(s) will be sent in that confirmation email to the address you used at checkout (attached as a PDF). If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, check your junk/spam folder. If you still do not see your order confirmation email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to help you out.
Is there a fee for parking?
No. Parking in the main lot at Ichthus is free. However, we do have a "Premium Parking Pass" that you may purchase when ordering your tickets that allows you to park in a special lot with easy in/out access.
Can I bring in my own food/drink?
Yes, you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks with you to the festival. However no hard coolers of any size will be allowed on site.
Can I bring a lawn/camp chair or blanket to sit on?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. However, they can only be set up in the designated area. No chairs or blankets can be setup in the immediate area closest to the Main Stage (this area will be standing room only). Please keep an eye out for signs or ask a volunteer where you may set up your chair or blanket.
Is there seating available at the festival?
No. There is no seating provided at the festival. You may bring your own chair or blanket to set up on the grass in the designated area. The festival is not responsible for chairs, blankets, or other items left to save your spot during the day. The area immediately in front of the main stage is standing room only.
What can/can't I bring with me?
No large coolers, pets, professional cameras (anything with a zoom lense), large bags/backpacks (small drawstring bags ok), alcohol, illicit or illegal substances.
I'm am artist who whould like to play Ichths. How do I apply?
Click here for more information on playing Ichthus Festival and our online application.
What if it rains?
Ichthus Festival is a rain or shine event. Please come prepared for the day's weather forecast.
Is there an ATM available on site?
No. While many vendors accept credit cards, we recommend brining cash as unreliable internet and cell service can sometimes make it difficult for credit card transactions at outdoor events.
Are there restrooms available onsite?
Yes. Portable toilets ("port-a-potties") will also be brought in for the event and avaialble throughout the day.
