The Next Connect Fest

It's been just over five months since Connect Fest 2018 at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds where thousands of people came together to worship and share the love of Jesus. It was a huge undertaking raising the funds to offer the festival with free admission and we were extremely encouraged to see so many of you step up and help us make this seemingly impossible task a reality. In the end, however, we did come up a bit short of our fundraising goal (approximately $6,000 short actually), but for the first year of this new free model in a region of the country where it is very difficult for Christian ministries to operate, we were still pleased and thankful for answered prayers. In the final weeks of 2018, thanks again to many of you, we were able to raise a good portion of the remaining $6,000 short fall, but unfortunately we fell short once again.

The feedback and response to the Gospel at the festival was extremely encouraging and proved that large-scale outreach events like Connect Fest are needed here in New England. So Fuse Ministries has committed to continuing the ministry of Connect Fest and has begun planning for the next festival! However, due to the amount of work it took to raise the necessary funds for the 2018 festival we have made the difficult decision to not hold the festival in 2019, but instead set a festival date in the fall of 2020. You see, it took over a year and a half to raise the funds we did for the 2018 festival and with still having work to do to finish raising the funds we were short from last year we wanted to give ourselves adequate time to raise the funds for our next festival.

2020 is going to be a big year for ministry here in New England, but 2019 has to be a bigger year to make that possible. Be on the lookout for fundraising events and opportunities for individuals and the church body to get involved.
